Streamlining Custom Orders with an Efficient Integrated Solution for Sales and Art Teams

Signature Coins is a leading provider of custom challenge coins, medals, and other collectible items. They specialize in creating high-quality, personalized products for a diverse range of clients, including military units, corporate organizations, and various events.

When Signature Coins approached us, they needed a robust solution to streamline their order management process for both their sales team and artists. Recognizing the complexities of their operations, we collaborated closely with their team to understand their unique requirements and pain points.

Our design process focused on user experience and functionality, we created a solution that addressed Signature Coins’ operational needs and enhanced their ability to deliver high-quality, customized products.

Understanding Order Flow, User Personas, and Behavior in the Existing System

We analyzed Signature Coins' existing systems to understand how sales and artist personas navigate through various modules to complete orders. By identifying pain points at each step of the user journey and probing key questions, we uncovered areas for improvement. This comprehensive approach provided valuable insights into the roles of salespeople and artists, guiding our design enhancements.

Decluttering with a Marie Kondo Approach to User Experience

After thorough user research, we gathered essential data to enhance the customer experience. We designed a sleek, sophisticated interface tailored for high-end restaurants, ensuring elegance and intuition. Each design element was crafted to meet functional needs and resonate with the upscale dining environment WineView aims to enhance.

Iterations, Iterations, Iterations

We started by analyzing the interactions between the salespeople, artists, and customers during the order fulfillment process. The salesperson's interaction with the customer differed significantly from that of the artist, so we reviewed numerous past orders to understand various customer journeys. Through multiple iterations, we were able to develop solutions that effectively cater to the needs of both roles.

We designed a streamlined, user-friendly platform to simplify order management for sales and artists, ensuring easy navigation to complete orders. In redesigning the platform, we made sure users could quickly adapt to the new design, minimizing the time needed to learn and navigate the improved interface.
